The Internet of Things: 5 ways to deliver killer UX in 2017

I never really thought of myself involved in much UX work, even as a product manager. But, as I have aged in my role, I find myself doing more UX My processes and patterns are pretty well set, but, I find it helpful to read up on these kinds of things to ensure I am not missing any new ideas in the area and, more importantly, reminding myself of useful ideas that I have gotten lazy about doing day to day. This book is full of the latter, not so much the former.

So, as long as you walk in I never really thought of myself involved in much UX work, even as a product manager. So, as long as you walk in to this book think that it will spend a lot of time on how to get the right kind of user experience, then you will be fine. I like the book and think that it is well written and complete. Really, the only area that I think could have been detailed further is around Information architecture. But, now that I think about it, I believe that is a book that I am going to write.

It bugs me that IA seems to be a learned science rather than an academic science. Back to the book. So, again, bear that in mind as you read it.
